Nandu has pinned plenty of hopes on his new film Savaari which has hit the screens today. Let us see whether the movie gives Nandu his inaugural hit in his profession.
Story :
Raju (Nandu) is a poor boy who lives with his horse (Badshah) and makes money through it. 1 fine day, he comes to know that Badshah is afflicted by a rare disease and needs surgery that will cost him a lot of money. This is also the time when he falls in love with Bhagi (Priyanka). 1 fine afternoon, Badshah goes lost and nervousness begins building in Raju's life. What issue does Badshah have? Where did it go out? What will happen to his love story? That creates the remainder of the story.
Plus Factors:
Hero Nandu is the major highlight of the film, and it has rediscovered himself together with Savaari. Until now, he has just done tender roles but for this film, he demonstrated that he can also suit mass functions too. His emotional outburst and sincere take to the function is the best aspect of the film. He's a really great performer who should be used more often from the Telugu cinema.
Heroine Priyanka does a good job in her role. Her mass avatar is quite good and she has an extremely impressive screen presence. The two hit songs also have been shot well on screen and result in a pleasant watch. The main villain Srikanth Reddy is excellent along with his comic angle was tapped nicely in the film. The way he arouses serious yet comic opinions is great.
Technical Aspects :
The concept chosen by the manager sounds good on paper but his execution is not around the mark. He does not elevate the battle point and the emotional angle he showcased was not up to the mark. The camerawork of the film is also superb and showcases the rustic locations superbly. The production values of this film are pretty good and so was the editing. Shekhar Chandra does nicely with his music score and the dialogues also have been written well.
Verdict :
Overall, Savaari does not live up to all of the hype and contains a strictly few moments going it is way. The lead set's monitor together with Nandu's functionality are good but the lack of strong conflict points and repeated scenes just take down the movie in no time which makes it a dull watch this weekend.
